This is the compression stuff sack designed for the US Military Modular Sleep system. These are made by the same US Government Subcontractor that makes the ones sold to the US Military, and are made from the same grade of materials, to the same specifications.
With so many on offer these days, it is great to have a name you can trust. This item is certainly that and will be a perfect buy. The distributor have added some great touches and this equals great value.

It's decent
I was expecting this bag to have more of a thick canvas feel like a Seabag but it's a thinner, tent-like material that seems to feel waterproof. It's fairly good quality but like I said the material is a little thin. I have a camouflage ground blind, two fleece sleeping bags and a single-person tent stuffed in mine and the stakes on my blind feel like they would easily poke through, so I have to cover the tips up.
It looks pretty goofy when you tighten all the straps to compress the contents because of how many straps there are, and the tighter you compress the more dangling straps you have flopping around. They probably could have gotten away with using less straps, or at least have offered some sort of velcro solution to tie up the danglers. But other than that my only complaint is the opening... the drawcord is thin like boot laces, the barrel lock seems like a cheap plastic without a very strong hold, and the undersized nylon flap which acts as the enclosure for it...

Good compression for large sleeping bags
This compression sack works well. works as expected. I bought a Coleman White Water Large Cool-Weather Scoop Sleeping Bag and it is large. I needed something that the large sleeping bag would fit in and that would compress it to a managable size. This did the trick, I was able to compress the bag and attache it to my pack with no problems. The only complaint is that the top of the compression sack is a drawstring closure, that tends to open when you start compressing it to a certan point.

In all the reviews it was stated that this item is huge. My military sleeping bag barely fits alone. I have to roll it up extra long to fit.
