High Quality - Similar to ESS ICE NARO, but Smaller
Before I bought the Aegis Compact, I tried out the ESS ICE NARO (previously reviewed) and found them to be a quality pair of shooting glasses, albeit too large for my small face/head. Since Smith provides a hat size range for the Aegis (really appreciated), I was able to make the proper decision in buying their compact model. Unlike the ESS ICE pair, the Aegis does not include a second frame. This isn't much of an issue though, because the Smith Aegis frame sports a dual piv-lock that makes swapping lenses super easy and stress-free. When changing lenses is this easy, you don't mind having only one frame. The pack I got included 3 lenses: gray, clear, and yellow, whereas the featured field kit here appears to include just clear and gray. There is also a 3 lense kit that substitutes yellow for a reddish tinted lense called "ignitor". Good fit for smaller faces or for women
5 stars for great price, materials used and well built. I like the quick change feature for the lens. Very nice carrying case.
Good fit for female or smaller face size.
I highly recommend for anybody who likes to go outdoors or for everyday use but not suitable for large face size.
