Excellent Binoculars
I bought these binos to replace a Nikon Monarch 8x56 that I ruined (my fault). The Nikons were very good & were perhaps a better value but I have to say that the Steiners are superior in every way. The light gathering capability is so good that I can examine game in amazingly low light. When I switch to my rifle scope I have to wait 10 - 20 minutes for there to be enough light (in the morning). Color sensitivity is also superior. I will stack these up against the other German brands any time.
I recommend shopping around and being patient. I got mine for far less than the price posted here. Still more expensive than the Nikons but if you can afford the difference these Steiner Predators can't be beat.
NOTE that they have a 56mm lens so they are heavier than binoculars with smaller lenses (my old Nikons were about the same weight). If that's a problem for you then don't buy 56mm binos. If you don't mind the weight I strongly recommend these! They are simply...

Top Notch Binoculars.
I have tried many types of binoculars with many brands costing considerably more and I would compare these with
any brand. Super clear optics with the 56mm lens working best at dusk. The only thing I can see that might be an
issue with some people is the weight. These are top quality binoculars and they are heavy. Steiner is the only brand
I will own and would highly recommend these to a friend.
