Decent combo
Although I'm a fan of Daiwa products, this wasn't my favorite. It looks nice to the eye, but doesn't cast as smooth as other I've had or have. I found it to be a little stiff and the reel was a bit rough.

Excellent
I bought this product at the last minute due to an equipment failure on a fishing trip to the Gulf and did it deliver. I was very impressed with it performance for a so called Cheap combo, it has plenty of backbone and power to handle most surf fish and worked flawlessly, It is not made for saltwater but for the price I would recommend it to anyone. I actually purchased another to use for Catfish and Bass.
nice rod for price
i bought this a couple days ago it came in on time no problems with shipping. i only went blue gill fishing with it and caught a bunch and one bass, i must say this rod makes fighting blue gill fun, better than the medium action rods i typically use, for the price you cant beat it. the only thing i disliked was that it is a two piece rod but that is only personal preference i prefer the one piece rods. but all and all it was a great price for a nice rod i would recommend this item to anyone.
